At Cecil Elementary school in Northeast Baltimore the teachers, staff and students came together to honor their ancestors for BHM with poetry, song and dance. This years theme was " Sankofa: Going into the past in order to better the future". DTLR sponsored the event with décor and shirts for all participants to wear.
