This past weekend in Chicago, DTLR partnered with local organizations to host two community events.
The first was a youth forum with Project Swish, where about 30 young adults gathered to express their thoughts & concerns relative to voting. The event was put together to enlighten and educate the masses and evoke similar conversations from other in an effort to begin collective change.
The second event was held at the DTLR|VILLA store at Englewood Plaza. Community organizations came together to distribute fresh produce and other items to families in need, and also hosted voter registration and education. Over 200 boxes were distributed to community members, and free hair cuts were provided.
