On Saturday, June 1, DTLR partnered with PUMA to host a special event at Southlake Mall in Merrillville, Indiana, celebrating the end of the school year and promoting a positive summer activity for the local youth. Just in time for World Bike Day on Monday, June 3, the event featured a donation of 120 bikes and 120 helmets to children who attended, while supplies lasted.
In addition to the bike giveaway to youth, bikes were also raffled off to local customers who signed up at the DTLR store inside the mall. PUMA also highlighted their GV Special shoe during the activation — where customers who purchased a pair of GV Specials in the DTLR store at Southlake Mall received free shoe customization from renowned local artist Dre the Shoe God.
