On Wednesday, March 9, Ballou High School held their annual Women's Day Celebration. Young ladies, that are students at Ballou, were invited down to participate in some self-care and self-affirmation activities. The room was filled with balloons, music, laughter and good vibes. The students were given "their flowers" as they entered the space and participated in some relaxation and self-expression through art and music. Sounds for the event were provided by DTLR's own Pretty Girl Radio DJ Tiara LaNiece and the event itself was hosted by Sherelle Duncan.
